Damn. This is a serious problem, apparently.

Earth is spinning faster than usual, but why? What experts say after shortest day ever (phys.org)

Time is flying. Literally.
Scientists at the National Physical Laboratory in England recorded the shortest day ever recently. The Earth completed its usual 24-hour rotation in less than 24 hours, the shortest day scientists began using atomic clocks to measure time.
"This is directly tied in with Climate Change," a noted expert in climatology and geophysics, Dr. Noah Bhodi, of Stanford University said.
"The poles are becoming unstable. We must prioritize our resources to stabilizing the poles to avert this existential crisis."

It doesn't sound so serious. It's only been measured since the 60's and the alleged shortening was 0.00159 seconds. The quoted article lists 5 possible causes and it seems reasonable that it's likely a combination of factors.

Apparently each day isn't the exact same length so that 0.00159 seconds doesn't mean much without a mean and standard deviation. One data point doesn't establish a trend and it certainly doesn't establish that there's any kind of problem.

Unfortunately the reporting on "science" isn't usually any better than the reporting on anything else...it's pretty poor.

I have known for decades actual time of a rotation on this planet has always been less that 24 hours relative time zone. 23 hours, 56 minutes, 56 seconds. It is why the Mayan Calendar created 5 days of Hell every 20 revolutions around the star Why there is a 9 month cycle of gestation conceived to birth, a galactic phase shift every 52,000 revolutions around the star(all the planets in a straight line on the same side of the sun that 12/21/2012 panic. The reason why the Gregorian calendar replaced the Julian Calendar, and invented April fool's day tradition.

Intellect converting an instinctive brain into an obedient "we the people mantra" so those in charge are always in possession of suggesting anything else is possible and anyone defying humanity will be eliminated morally, legally, economically, ancestrally displaced so far. That is why rule of law works against any ancestor not complying with a we mentality of any franchise of humanities promising better tomorrows than life balances adapting to the moment here..

Hell of a counter punch, Punch, don't you think. An actual instinctive brain defying 7 billion souls believing now isn't eternity while their body just adapts to genetics eternally separating their time alive now.

I cannot physically or psychologically harm you anymore than your own ancestry did enabling reasonable doubt since dawn of civilization getting you to deceiving yourself first.

Honesty is always the best policy when educating each arriving great great grandchild born to physically replace its previous 4 generations one at a time/all siblings regardless they became parents or not.

Bet you don't like my natural understanding of compounding DNA displacement populating space in plain sight my brain navigates while awake. Hell of a woke state of mind those intellectual woke leaders won't discuss.

Evolving is a process, not a theory, faith, state of mind only contextual certain souls understand. original sin is ignoring evolving nd that is also the final conflict that ends one of 2 ways.

Extinction or everyone of this species changes their mind. The latter will be the first actual miracle. I know from personal experience trying last 16 and a half year, relative time logistics.

Sounds like a possible big problem however surviving fetus-animals did not get to vote on a stabilization of the poles solution.

Earth is spinning around around the sun at thousands of miles per hour as it rotates and drifts into new areas of the universe with all the other planets at thousands of miles per hour.

"ASA says the Martian South Pole’s “ice cap” has been shrinking for three summers in a row. Maybe Mars got its fever from earth. If so, I guess Jupiter’s caught the same cold, because it’s warming up too, like Pluto."

Somewhere between 50% and 86% of ventilated covid patients died, yet government never ended emergency subsidies payments to hospitals for the use of ventilators.

Covid virus treatment plan was the worst failed medical experimentation in the history of the world.

so the faster days are the cause of climate change? there's our answer and it's been in front of us the whole time...

I read your sarcastic response, so let me add some of my sarcasm to yours.

In the Op the axis is leaning left, what season would it be in northern hemisphere when that axis switches to right leaning? Leaning left facing the star is summer, when it shifts half revolution solstice it is leaning right. Equinoxes it is perpendicular to the sun on the quarters.

Simple geometry in motion with physics within a perpetual balancing universal moment evolving creates eternal compounding results never duplicating the cycles present and unique for the time they exist being part of what remains perpetually balancing now individually here.
Also, always remember the star and the planet are spherical in shape so the simple axis shifts are when the equators of both objects are always closest points of each position revolving is center to center on a horizonal plane.

So that axis in intellect is a static idea the elliptical orbit of the planet goes above and below the equator of the star. and two curved surfaces from one another created that so called moving axis on the planet rotating.

In real time it is the planet going above and below the sun's equator. Gee axis, latitude, longitudes are all imaginary facts called truths and physically are made up within one species fooling itself all the time.

I know where my sarcasm comes from, but what causes yours? Everyone else denying actual life or people not accepting your reality?

If we could just find the dimmer switch for the sun...

The earth's rotation has been slowing since its creation. In 4 billion years our "day" will last about as long as our month is now.
The earth will match the rotation of the moon.
Tidal friction is more a factor than anything. The oceans need to change level a lot and then it takes centuries for the rotation of the planet to be effected at all.
It could be another .000001 second per day!

Also, the sun is fairly stable as a heat source but it, too, does vary. Along with an 11 year cycle of spots and magnetic shifts, the solar wind induces changes to our environment.
Add all this to our limited understanding of the thermal shifts due to clouds, oceanic heat sinks and reflectivity, we don't have a clear way to predict anything beyond speculation at some level.

Ever consider sun spots asteroids between earth and the star? I did for a long time everyone focuses on the asteroid belt between mars and jupiter why not be asteroids between sun and earth, just not a belt of them.

Wow sun spots besides the gaps on the sun's radiant surface away from the core. those whirlpools of induction to things gravitating towards it and its light sustaining the distance between same polarity objects.

dark side of any star is facing away from the sun. It is an instinctive inside out joke about intellectual minds only interpreting life outside in.

someone may have put me in charge of putting the sun's dimmer switch in a safe place... I've got a lot of things I've put in "safe" places over the years...some of which I haven't seen in decades...

one track mentality is all a social mind was programmed to follow after birth until dead.

Lifetime exists conceived to replace until decomposed regardless they added another generation, adding another generation, adding another generation, or not.

Living doesn't exceed mutually evolving here now. Why the old joke about never being lost is being here now where ever that became current events around your sole time adapting to space same as everything else universally specifically displaced.

"It is what It is.". Debating anything else is possible between all 5 generations left evolving forward now has everyone expecting life to exceed being timed apart here. hope, faith, charity delivers power, wealth, fame to those organizing deceptions ancestrally forward historically and current events.

In all the chaos between humans did manage to create a system to make evolving easier for everything limited to adapting to the moment here but it was so corrupted in actually created a physical eternal hell for those alive now.

Governing a no win situation of mutually evolving at the same time promising a win win scenario every rotation of the planet expecting tomorrow to be more than any rotation just sustaining eternal separation of results added to this point now is Eternity regardless universal position being timed separately here.

kinetic self evident results, humans corrupted themselves defying it since dawn of civilization inventing institutional humanities gods and nations group thinks by race, creed color, national origins gender biases, and the whole divide and conquer **** power of suggestion has done historically pushing mind over matter scenarios..
