IBM (NYSE:IBM) CEO Arvind Krishna is tapping the brakes and expects that 30% of back office functions, like human resources, will be replaced by AI and automation over a five-year period. With roughly 26,000 workers in non-customer-facing roles, that could mean letting go of around 7,800 employees in the coming years.

Don't you just feel the compassion for their fellow mankind. Promise people a better tomorrow then create laws they cannot provide for themselves without humanity telling them who they can be tomorrow. Anyone questioning those in charge will be eliminated for from public arena of ides promising better tomorrows to each great great grandchild added forward from here.

guess what destroys the family unit? People intellectually united at pitting each generation against one another for humanity's sake.

Geeeeeeez, learn to read between the lines!!!

• Look at IBM's historic stock price and market analytics - it has been loosing profitability and ceding market-share to rival companies for over a decade now.
• IBM lost out to Microsoft and Alphabet in the Cloud arena - it's last great hope of saving itself.
• IBM was destroyed under the non-leadership of Ginni Rometty  - critical years that profusely bled away between the thighs of an inept CEO. (Yeah, that was nasty, wasn't it - well, screw you, Ginni!!!)
• So, IBM has got to cut overhead without making it look like they are calling for bloody headcounts with which to paint their poo-stained numbers blood-red.
