Democrat Lawmaker Lois Frankel Sold First Republic Stock Before It Crashed by 80% – Bought JPMorgan Stock Which Just Bought First Republic Instead

Investor Matt Allen posted an interesting tweet on how one Democrat lawmaker was able to wade through the collapse of First Republic Bank.

Congresswoman Lois Frankel sold First Republic Bank in March before the stock dropped 80%

After she sold First Republic, she bought JP Morgan Chase which just bought First Republic. She clearly had inside information.

Reps. Earl Blumenauer (D., Ore.) and John Curtis (R., Utah) also reported trading First Republic Bank stocks before its collapse.

Many more banks are expected to fail. The Federal Reserve's aggressive interest rate hikes to bring down inflation has caused the value of mortgage backed securities and government bonds, that banks are heavily invested in, values to plummet.

The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation can cover lass than 1.35% of the insured deposits of bank customers.

However, the FDIC is backed by the full faith and credit of the U.S. government. A government that is $32 TRILLION in debt whose inflationary spending caused this crisis in the first place does not make me feel very confident.

Braindead biden printing $TRILLIONS from thin air and government spending $TRILLIONS is extremely inflationary and is what got the US into the financial crisis it is in now.  More banks are going to fail especially those under capitalized and highly leveraged with huge holdings of government debt in the form of treasury bills and government securities as those lose more and more of their market value due to the federal Reserve raising interest rates to combat the inflation caused by excessive government spending.

It is like wiping your *** on a hoola hoop. There is no end to it and you just keep running into ****.
