THE ONLY MISTAKE PUTIN MADE WAS GIVING ZELENSKY, KOLOMOISKY AND THE MIC MORE TIME TO BANKROLL AMERICAN TAXPAYER DOLLARS AND ARM TERRORISTS WITH WEAPONS. 

TAKING ZELENSKY OUT AS A FIRST PRIORITY WOULD HAVE BEEN BENEFICIAL

YES. OTHER REASONS WERE TO MINIMIZE CIVILIAN CASUALTIES.  
I STILL BELIEVE TAKING OUT ZELENSKY AT THE ONSET MIGHT HAVE MINIMIZED OR EVEN DERAILED THE MIC MONEY LAUNDERING SCHEME

There is a small group of Russians that probably think that the USSR was progress similar to XO, other than that the main population seems to be unhappy about Ukraine random bombing Russian speaking civilians civilians on their borders, etc.  Russian leaders will unleash hell without Putin and the west is goofy, stupid and suicidal, another good deal for the west.
