now is a great time to crash the dollar, and make the national debt worthless. this will give all the young people a clean start. screw the old people who created the national debt!!!! national dept is in usa dollars. walk away from the dollar. print new money. does not matter what you name it. give every usa citizen under 30 equal supply of new money. convert old debt to new money debt. except federal debt. federal debt becomes worthless. love it. only people with new money will be those under 30.

The dems in the Senate and the White House have done NOTHING. Dems have not negotiated, discussed nor even proposed anything yet ...

He has a choice, pass a debt ceiling bill and negotiate with McCarthy in a conference committee, pass the legislation sent him by the House or force a default. There's a looming crisis that could soon pummel the U.S. economy, and the consequences could affect all of us.House Republicans have confirmed they are willing to push the economy off a cliff for political leverage.
In plain terms, they are refusing to raise the debt ceiling — which would basically just pay for bills they and the Trump White House largely racked up — unless Democrats and the Biden White House agree to deep cuts to our future budget.
Simply put, they’re taking America’s economy hostage, saying that after a four-year Christmas spending spree under Trump, they’ll stop paying the nation’s credit card bill unless Biden agrees to play Scrooge in future Christmases.
It’s a dangerous time to be playing these kinds of political games because a default or even the threat of one could trigger global panic.
And what do the House Ebenezers want to cut? You might think they would look to defense spending since so many of them are all up in arms about funding Ukraine and the “woke” military. But no, that’s the untouchable third rail.
Instead, they want to kill large chunks of Biden’s Inflation Reduction Act, which means spending on the environment and transportation — bridges, tunnels, electric cars — that sort of thing. And guess who they think should bear the brunt of these cuts? People experiencing poverty, of course, since the GOP's bill targets programs for them.
The House Republican bill that some in the media credited as a “McCarthy win” would add work requirements to Medicaid and expand current work requirements to the food stamp program and the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program.

OR we can tell the truth. The budget has been with the president for the last week and he wont sign it. This is just typical political BS pretending the other side isn't doing something it already did.

Republicans have a proposal on the table that would RAISE the debt ceiling, while outlining a plan to reign in FUTURE spending, and RECOUPING "UNSPENT" COVID $$$$ !! To MOST Americans THAT seems like the Common sense path forward !
AND... It SOUNDS pretty reasonable... but all Joe Biden can say is "I WILL NOT Negotiate"...
Judging by Joe Bidens record since coming into office (i.e. WRONG 99% of the time)... AND not to mention the "Joe & Hunter Biden CORRUPTION noose" that is tightening around his neck as we speak... Joe Biden is one who is going to LOSE... and LOSE BIG !
ACTUALLY... Joe Bidens best option might be to "Give up the GHOST"... and DIE in office... BUT, EVEN THAT won't save the Democrat Party, the Deep State, OR the CORRUPT Democrat Bureaucracy... TOO MUCH EVIDENCE, TOO MANY WHISTLE BLOWERS, and TOO MANY WITNESSES !!
