Assad is a dick, but so are the rulers of Algeria, Tunisia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the UAE. Not to mention Chad and Somalia.

The Syrian Civil War started in July of 2011 and is still going on. It has lasted so long because Juniorbush invaded Iraq and fired all the cops and all the military, and weapons that had been guarded when Saddam was in power were no longer guarded, and many ended up in Syria. The borders of Syria and Lebanon were determined by the British and the French and the people of those countries have never gotten along.

I do not see where Biden has tried to prevent Arab countries from joining the Arab League. Perhaps you noticed that the US is not an Arab nation, and like he British and the French before them, has no expertise in governing Muslims in general and Arabs in particular.
