The leftists want to take over the country but it was already taken over by the crony capitalists. The only thing the leftists can do now is destroy the country from within. The crony capitalists want the status quo so they can keep making money for themselves and the corporations who fund their coffers.
We like to think we are free in the US and for the most part we are, unless you try to disrupt the flow of money between the corporate and federal government powers.
