my mom and dad never taught me to be cold hearted and uncaring for those in need

So, then, what did they teach you?  Did they teach you to steal from others? To be irresponsible?  To live and spend beyond your means?  To force others to pay for what you want?

No.  They need to have access to healthcare.  But, this can be a combination of private insurance and some of their own money.

Could be an interesting book.  I don't know if it is about actual term limits or a title with some alternate meaning.  In regards to term limits, I would be for something like a 15 year term limit, but not 2, 4 or 8.  And, here's why.  When you have everyone term limited, then the non-elected Bureaucracy wins. These appointees and hires have the run of the show with little interference from elected officials.

What we really should have are term limits on government employment.  No one can work in government for more than 4 years, and then they must work in the private sector after that.

an excellent book...the meaning is the same in regards to people elected to office in gubment, just an alternative to get them to do what is good for the people instead of themselves...

Maybe Congress should live off of tips.  Every registered voter can allocate a certain amount of money from the "tip jar" to his/her congressmen, depending on their performance.

well in the 80's it was the bus loads of freeloaders from Chicago coming to get their welfare checks and going back home...then they decided to move here after their checks were cutoff...and of course brought all their problems, baggage and rellies with...the the Somalis came...they're still a big problem...and don't get me going on "fluff" Amy...that stupid **** is a dem bootlicker all the way...never even remotely touches anything controversial...and of course, don't forget Omar...another feckless **** to the Nth degree...

i think it should be a non paid position...actual expenses only paid...do it for the love of your country and not your wallet...

That would mean only super-wealthy people could do the job.  There is something to be said about that, however.  You've accomplished something in life, or have really rich relatives who are banking your governance.
