On 17 March 1995, the Ukrainian parliament abolished the Crimean Constitution of 1992, all the laws and decrees contradicting those enacted by Kyiv, removed Yuriy Meshkov as President of Crimea and abolished the office itself.

- Russia did not invade the US; therefore there was nothing for Biden to "negotiate" for.
- It was not upon the US to "negotiate" for peace. There was no war, no threat of attack, no preparation for war.
- Crimea still belonged to Ukraine and Ukraine had a right to claim it and demand its return. That is not a valid pretext for Russia to invade Ukraine.

So? Russia's military was all along Ukraine's border preparing to invade. If there were to be any negotiations, it should have been between Ukraine and Russia. We have the right to support a country that was wrongfully invaded, and we have no obligation to negotiate on its behalf. Ukraine did not threaten Russia. It wanted Crimea back and it had every right to try and get it back. Crimea is not and was not a part of Russia. It belonged to Ukraine. Putin invented several bogus pretexts for invading Ukraine. For that, Putin is a sopping wet ******. I'd have more respect for the Moscow Midget if he simply said "We want Ukrainian land and we will take it". Because, that's the simple truth. Crimea is Ukraine's. They are entitled to claim it and say they want to get it back. Is Ukraine supposed to just roll over and suck Putin's cock after Putin took Crimea by force.
