The LAST time I looked... Eastern Ukraine is STILL PART of Ukraine... and SUBJECT to Ukrainian elections.  ...and, the VAST majority of Ukraine SUPPORTS this FIGHT !

ALSO, there have been accusations for YEARS that Russia has been subverting that part of Ukraine, by moving Russians in there...  to TRY to take that part of Ukraine over using EXACTLY the argument YOU have just made !
