Gillette called me a bully. Never will I buy from them again. I don't like to be bullied.

Bud Queer Beer was more important to market in a similar tone deaf way.
A "marketing wizard" did this. The product doesn't sell itself. Image is king... rather, queen.

Companies that piss on a customer base to seek other customers don't need my money.

I find it strange that someone can say that Gillette or Bud is bullying you when you have so many options and no one forces you to do anything. If someone was forcing you at gunpoint to buy the beer.. then you have a point. Another fact about Bud.. this can is/was limited edition and not found everywhere. How do I know.. went to two stores last night and did not see a single one.

It's not about the beer itself or how it tastes. People aren't mad at how it tastes. People are mad about woke companies insulting their base by trying to impose their politics on them. So, they decided to not drink it. Now, they have lost billions. Oh well.

So they drink Bud not because of the taste but rather the marketing/image? That is odd to me. To drink something that has no taste or tastes like **** just because of its image/marketing is not my style.

I didn't say it had no taste. I said the taste isn't the reason they are boycotting. It's tasted the same for the past 3 million years, and nobody boycotted. It isn't about that. It's about sending a message to the company that they are tired of having wokeness showed down their throat. The company needs to be reminded that their other options. That's exactly what the base is doing, choosing other options. Consequently, the company has lost a lot of money. They took their base for granted. Big mistake.

Explain how it is "shoved down your throat" when you willing walk into the store (not at gunpoint), and you choose to buy Bud/Bud Light, and not all of their cans/bottles have this trans person on them. This seems a bit snowflake-y to be crying victim.

Ok fine. Shoved down our throat may not be a correct use of words. The point remains.

And how come you keep bringing up buying other brands? Yes, that is exactly what is going on. They are buying other brands. It's not like anyone is burning down their stores and rioting in the streets. They are simply buying other brands. That's that.

I guess that I like actual beer too much. I seek out breweries and their products because of how it tastes. If one of them had a bottle with a trans person on it.. I would pour the beer into a glass, throw away the bottle, and forget about it. Marketing means nothing to me when it comes to beer.

I like beer too. I guess it's just that you can only push people so far before they push back. I personally applaud how the base handled it. They didn't riot. They didn't vandalize. They didn't harm anyone. They simply chose another brand. Consequently, the company's pocketbook suffered. That is a great example of how protests should be conducted. It works. And it's easy.

LIkewise.. I do not go to Chick-Fil-A. Not because of their politics. I just do not think that their product is all that special. If I am going to go out.. I support local (and usually) better operations.

you are arguing with a fake person....he, she or it is trying to claim impartiality but isn't smart enough to pull it off so he, she or it does what he, she or it does best and naturally...play the roll of a simpleton......an idiocrat acting like an idiot

It is forced to stop my gag reflex when I get used to a product for men,
then have to ignore their "mission statement" every morning:
That I am part of a society of toxic masculinity. Whatever the **** that *** **** is supposed to mean.

Marketing is brand loyalty. That "brand" tells me I'm a **** person. I'm forced to look elsewhere.

If all of you "defenders" cannot see this, too bad.
Use their ****. You're not a child. You're a toxic male (perhaps). Or gay.
I would be willing to bet you defenders are liberals and/or democrats. Mostly.
Going lockstep is a leftie thing so if you're not leftie, you ARE walking with them on this type of woke stuff.

Ask the Twitter mob why they get worked up when a conservative makes a comment.

I find it strange that the twitter mob called for a boycott of chik fil A when the CEO criticized *** marriage.

Lockstep infers that I know the mission, care about it, and agree with it. Only caring about product quality and being oblivious to marketing does not say that I care... BTW, last time I had a Budweiser or Bud Light was roughly 20 years ago. As for Gillette, I use Schick but that is due to price and it coming in the Amazon prime subscribe and save. It is interesting how you care so much what strangers think of you.

The main reason to buy a Chik-Fil-A sandwich is because you enjoy eating them. As I said, they are quite tasty, and the eat-in experience is nicer than the local Popeyes and KFC's in my neighborhood. You will never convince the owner of this company to change his political beliefs by you, one person, boycotting his restaurants. Trying to influence InBev would be even more difficult.\

Impartial is clearly impartial about his, and makes far more sense than the other pair of peckerwoods posting on this topic.

equally dumb. It is just a garden variety fast food restaurant that makes average food.

Some product sales are influenced more by demographic marketing than others.  Brand identity is big for alcohol and vehicles.  Not as much for fast food and fast casual.

Busch messed with their bread & butter and now marxists act miffed about it.

Imply. Not infer.

Actually your attempt at subtle snide is stomping.
You don't really know what I care about.
This is about stupid virtue signaling which you can accept with open arms.
I make a choice, when possible, to avoid that.
