And for your marxists who don't get why the founding founders wanted EC (electoral college).

~ 2/3 of the population lives in ~5% of the geography.  If we had a popular vote, then a candidate would only have to campaign in southern Cali, Chicago, the eastern corridor, and a handful of other places.  You can skip ID, MT, WY, NV, UT, ND, SD, NE, OK, IA, MO, MS, ME, NH, VT, AK, AR, AZ, NM, UT, WI.

Why one person one vote destroyed this country serving liberty, honest understanding of evolving, equal justice for equally created ancestors just adapting in space mutually evolving forward now.

Social minds destroy each honest brain adapting in their own skin to protect character role playing as rule of law protects typecast people and defends stereotypical behavioral patterns. while punishing anyone discussing the self evident means of evolving here now.

Survival of the fittest is those most capable of adapting to natural catastrophes those with disabilities wouldn't. Life balances outcomes, not fairness in outcomes.

Why should a nation inhabited by people give acreage the right to choose the leaders?
Acreage, sheep, goats, steers and such should not count.

Because the STATES elect the President and Vice-President, not the PEOPLE.  It would be perfectly legal and Constitutional for the legislatures of the various states to simply appoint the electors of their choosing and give the voters of the state...or their Governor for that matter...no input (other that electing members of that state's legislature).

Screw the STATES. This is a country of PEOPLE. States are simply jurisdictional entities intended to be made of of people with common interests.

Actually, it's a union of States.  But that's not the point of this thread, so it sounds like you need to get off you lazy liberal *** and change the Constitution.  Good luck with that.

Without the EC this Country would have folded a long time ago.

Until the utter foolishness of the 17th Amendment, the states were sovereign.

Because people live there.  The founders balanced urban versus rural.
