Disney donated more to the GOP than to Democrats. Now they donate nothing.
No... I disagree !  And, speaking as a Conservative, I think I'm more in tune with what PISSES DeSantis off than you are !

What PISSED DeSantis off about Disney... is that YEARS ago... Disney was granted SPECIAL considerations by the PEOPLE of the State of Florida... considerations to give Disney power over the land with which they were being entrusted... POWER over taxation, utilities, and other powers usually granted to the STATE itself... THEY were entrusted with these powers to BUILD their Family friendly theme park in Florida, and by doing so provide WHOLESOME and FAMILY FRIENDLY entertainment for the families of Florida... as well as America, and EVEN the WORLD... WELL into the future !!

HOWEVER... when De Santis saw that Disney had TURNED its BACK on being being the FACE of WHOLESOME and FAMILY FRIENDLY entertainment... and INSTEAD, HAD become the Face of WOKE-izm, PRONOUNS, SEXUAL Perversion, and DEBAUCHERY... DeSantis saw that Disney had TURNED it's BACK on the people of Florida itself, and the people of America... AND it was NO LONGER the role model it once was !  HE decided that the SPECIAL considerations that Disney had been granted ALL those years ago... were NOT Permanent, and so, NEEDED to be TAKEN BACK !  Taken BACK, BY the State of Florida, BY the people of Florida, FOR the people of Florida, AND FOR the CHILDREN of Florida... ALL of who NO LONGER support what Disney stands for... and that THEY NEEDED to make that statement as CLEAR, and UNEQUIVOCAL, as possible to Disney... SO THAT they UNDERSTAND !!

I THINK... they SUCCEEDED !!

Nothing as huge as Disney could exist except as a stock company. Musk and Bezos also do not own the companies they formed.

Now we are once again being tempted by global Marxism.  They promise the world for the little guy but it always turns out that they build empires for themselves and the rest of us?   We get hung out to dry.

Disney did the best that he knew how.  Without his backers that little plot in Anaheim would probably still be in orange trees.  He can't take the heat for what happened later.  The same would have happened to any of us.  Almost....

This is why, when Trump came along, the real rulers of our land **** themselves.  Trump didn't need their money.  They went crazy trying to run him out of town and they're still at it.   They will never learn.

I don't have long to go before my transition back to spirit.  I fully intend to find Walt and see what he has to say about the world today.

None of us have all the answers.  The best we can do is to keep ourselves aimed at what we think best.

Thanks...

I want to say, in closing, that this sort of thing is what the anti-capitalists rant over all the time.  They claim that if only we can purify the world by getting rid of the profiteers then all will be well.  But what they don't say is that the profiteers will be replaced by equally evil people who set themselves up as absolute rulers and they have police forces to prove it.

The only way to win in this world is to die are return to heaven where there are no jealousies.
I truly enjoyed reading your above post which was well written and insightful!

Most of us just want the freedom to live our lives the best we possibly can.  However, there will always be a handful of us that crave power.  Enough power to elevate themselves over the masses and to control the masses by enacting (or unequally enforcing) unjust laws, using money to manipulate others and/or sometimes brute force. They can be capitalists, marxists,  anarchists, and even theologians, really the same type of human, just educated in different methods of elevating themselves at the expense of others.  The one thing they all share is a core belief that different rules apply to them than to the masses.  Most of us reject two-faced, self-elevating, elitists.  Still, somehow, a handful of them always seem to gain the power that they crave.

All humans will die, we all know that.  And perhaps we do return to the sort of heaven you and others describe where there are no jealousies.....   Or, are there?  Wasn't Lucifer jealous of God and even God's creation, Mankind?  And, what exactly is waiting for the megalomaniacs "in Heaven" who obtained power through corruption and abusing others for their own gain?  Interestingly, I never hear of any near death experiences where some evil bastard never saw Heaven but was tormented and tortured in Hell.  Have you?  Perhaps its just too horrifying for them to speak of.  Or, perhaps such evil bastards don't get second chances, but just die and go straight to Hell.

For the most part, this would be true. Well, some people can just up and buy things like Twitter.

I think if Walt were alive today, he would just chuckle at the Disney mega-corporation, fully understanding that he sold the purity of his dreams to a bunch of demons for a life of riches and a world-wide legacy of adoration and fame.  Walt would chuckle because he would think to himself "LOL - I got way more than I bargained for!"

The Earth's heavens are not the abode of the God of Creation.  Our heavens are divided into seven "layers" or areas, one above the other.  At the lower end of these which is very close to the physical we find that it is possible for humans to behave as they did while "alive" in the physical.  This is a complicated place.  First, it is the location where the storied war in heaven took place.  And yes it is possible here to entertain human emotions such as jealousies.  And this is where the hell is too.   This is an isolated place, well guarded.  Only the evil doers go there or those who die suddenly while on drugs or in fits of rage.  Normal people die and immediately rise above that place.

It is not surprising that those who have a NDE never report it.  Evil people or drug addicts are not inclined to speak of such experiences.  Normal people are... and do.

About this hell... it is not the eternal place of punishment as reported.  Souls who go there are given time to amend their ways.  They are watched by others high above them.  When they, themselves, decide it's time to move on then they are lifted up and restored.   But... this does not mean they are expunged of any debts incurred.  They will still have to pay amends for their wrong doing in future lives.

It's very simple really.   With or in God's creation nothing is ever lost.  We err.  We sin.  We make amends.  We are punished.  We are rewarded.  But in the end even the worst among us is forgiven and elevated.   Before the end of the world every bit of spirit and matter that was created is purified and returns to the Father.  Nothing is ever lost.

This is not something one will hear in Christian circles.  It's true nonetheless.

You write as though you have experienced this.  Perhaps you have.  I certainly have taken note.

We humans are funny peculiar sometimes.   We tend to accept that wisdom which comes to us from long ago while avoiding more recent statements.  What is it about the olden days that they produced wise men and women?  Aren't people the same now?  Indeed we are greatly improved.   After thousands of lifetimes is a man still a beginner?

Nothing special about me except that I have learned that we humans need not depend on sages from the past for knowledge.  We are just as capable in our times.   It is quite possible for someone today to consider questions about almost anything then send his or her mind to that place where the answers are waiting.  This is what humanity has been trained to do after all.

First is suspicion.  Second is faith.  Third is sure beliefs.  Fourth is knowledge.  Fifth is the wisdom that results from the practical application of all that came before.   Each of us is as capable as another.  We just too seldom know it.

On a personal note I have been a student of spiritual philosophy for a very long time.  None of my formal training was anything to do with any religion.  Religions are man made, all of them.  They have a way of coloring reality by requiring devotees declare dependency on deity before any revelation can be known.   Much easier to go around religions, avoiding the need for all the metaphorical parallels.  Thanks for the comment.
