The single most important thing is to be completely immune to logic, to demonstrate intolerance at every opportunity, to use fear as a weapon and finally to not want to listen to opposing views for fear they will discover something they don't want to hear.
A conservative on the other hand is willing, always, to exchange ideas in a civil way.

Which of these two would any thinking person join?  

which kind of logic?
Academic training new brains to socially mind narratives cradle to grave.
Obey artistic impressions controlling the flow of information between all 5 generation gaps present.
Economics to punish and reward anyone resisting reality or protecting it.
Politics to raise sibling rivalry into eternal conflicts between social ideologies making issues two sided like two parents raising children.
Spiritualism to promote mind over matter matters on intellectual plains beyond the level evolving time taking place in plain sight.
Creating social consensus statistically averaged facts to be used by previous 4 generation gaps against their arriving replacements being each great great grandchild capable of evolving into 1 of 16 great great grandparents 4 generations after their arrival.

Know the natural limitations to evolving in plain sight or your own species is inevitably going to self destruct saving reasonable doubt..
