I actually doxxed a guy on a forum, but it wasn't a big deal.
I was on a forum that had several paid trolls. One of the shills had a fairly unique user name, so I looked it up. I found his phone number and address in 5 minutes. He had already given his city and mentioned his age, occupation, and high school city many times, so it wasn't hard to find.
I posted his name only, but it was a real laugh when I relayed his plans from his fakebook page. He must've **** himself when I reposted it because he disappeared for awhile.
But anyway, the clown basically doxxed himself because these dumb shills are like that. They're lazy and think that someone won't take 5 minutes to look them up. The clowns basically dox themselves.
