As far as the shelf life is concerned, it used to be 110 days from the time it was bottled by AB standards, but I think they have stretched it out a bit since InBev took them over. It seems like I read it's 180 days now, which is a considerable difference.Skans » 22 May 2023, 2:56 pm » wrote: ↑ Here it comes, the Big Bud-Light Buy-Back. Now, get this. Budweiser is poised to launch a line of camouflage cans pandering to veterans, and is looking to ditch the tranny-look for.........what exactly? Is the theme "we're in hiding"? Not only that, lots of beers have had camo cans like: Yuengling, Miller Light, Natural light, many others, even .......get this......BUDWEISER in 2017! So, I guess Budweiser and Bud Light are looking to "hide out" and go into obscurity with their new camo-can. So, Budweiser is just recycling the camo-theme from other beers.
Maybe they should come up with dildo-shaped "camo-can" for queers. OH, SNAP, BUDWEISER ALREADY DID THAT TOO!!!
And who do they think the camo will fool!Skans » 22 May 2023, 2:56 pm » wrote: ↑ Here it comes, the Big Bud-Light Buy-Back. Now, I hadn't read that - that they were trying to give the stale queer-beer away, and no one wants it. It just leaves such a "bad taste" in your mouth over all of this, doesn't it.RedheadedStranger » 22 May 2023, 3:04 pm » wrote: ↑ As far as the shelf life is concerned, it used to be 110 days from the time it was bottled by AB standards, but I think they have stretched it out a bit since InBev took them over. By the time the product actually hit the shelves at the 110 day standard, it was usually well under the three month mark as far as shelf life left, so the fact that they have product getting close or flat out going out by now makes perfect sense.
A lot of the time the local distributors will hand out OOD beer to their employees versus tossing it out too so, there are probably going to be a bunch of Bud distribution employees drunk on queer beer this Summer... but I'm sure they would rather have in their paychecks instead of the stale beer.
I saw a story the other day where one retailer was offering a $20 rebate on a $20 case of Bud Light, just to try and get rid of the stock they had on hand. They are literally giving the **** away, and still can't get any takers.
Well, haven't you always wanted to hide your beer in the warm, damp woods like a squirrel so no one would be able to find them?

The CEO, Michel Doukeris, is such a freaking liar too. Here's what he's claimed: "It was not [a campaign]: It was one post. It was not an advertisement.” Well, that was disproved. It was way more than one post. There were several videos going around that showcases Mulvaney promoting Bud Light - not just the one of him in the bubble-tub. Doukeris also claimed it was only one bottle of beer, a special bottle not made for the public. No, that's not true either. Mulvaney was provided with multiple bottles of beer. And, it was going to go public, but they were waiting to gauge the response they received do this roll-out.
Face it, Bud Light is dead for now. Budweiser and other InBev products will suffer for some time, but InBev will likely recover. If I were Doukeris, I'd come out and say something like this:
Hey guys, we get it. We F-ed up. What were we thinking getting involved in politics and even social issues. We make Beer and just want to go back to making beer. So, from this day forward Budweiser and InBev pledge to make it our policy to respectfully decline to get involved in ANY political issue or Social issue. Oh, and the brand "Bud Light" is being retired.
LOL - I hadn't read that article. Thanks. Nobody wants to drink Tranny-Butt Beer.
lol... nope. My old man back in the day- When he was alive- Used to hide his beer from me? I only wanted one more! like number 3? the Horror! number #3?Skans » 22 May 2023, 3:58 pm » wrote: ↑ Well, haven't you always wanted to hide your beer in the warm, damp woods like a squirrel so no one would be able to find them?
found it.. That could have been frozen, exploded beer - like the ones I forget to take out of the freezer when I want a couple of really cold ones! Now, I just keep several thick glass mugs in the freezer and the beer in the fridge. Works just as well, and I don't get yelled at by the wife for an exploded beer.sootedupCyndi » 22 May 2023, 4:19 pm » wrote: ↑ lol... nope. Guess what he did? He lifted up the window--- and put the beers on the window sill.. between the window and the outside screen. shut his window down! Maine was cold- refrigerated beer on the window sill?
TOO bad- I was smarter then him.found it..
edit? it was a crafty hiding spot for awhile.
That's not a gag per say, but more like false advertising.impartialobserver » 22 May 2023, 5:29 pm » wrote: ↑ A local bar apparently played a gag on their patrons.. Feel free to do so. I think it is interesting that it shows how they reacted. apparently, the taste/quality of the product means nothing. Its like saying, "this tastes like ****.. but hey give me six more"RedheadedStranger » 22 May 2023, 5:37 pm » wrote: ↑ That's not a gag per say, but more like false advertising.
That is akin to filling all the top shelf liquor bottles with the cheap well booze and charging a premium for the "good stuff".
Lizzy Warren's Consumer Protection Agency needs to get involved.
I think it's interesting that an on premise establishment is having to hoodwink their customers into buying Bud Light, two months into this, to keep from taking a loss on their inventory.impartialobserver » 22 May 2023, 5:39 pm » wrote: ↑ Feel free to do so. I suppose you'll never understand.....it's not anything to do with beer. The taste, price, or shape of the packaging is not what it's about.....shoving queer *** down the throats of beer drinkers and embracing wokeness has pissed off former customers.impartialobserver » 22 May 2023, 5:39 pm » wrote: ↑ Feel free to do so. Whenever a company is trying to pander to two diametrically opposed groups, they really should anticipate this kind of thing happening. The CEO is really the Pandering Executive Officer. The bottom line is he's a piss-poor leader.Kobia2 » 23 May 2023, 12:26 am » wrote: ↑
A couple observations....
I still find it unbelievable the level of incompetence, and incoherent response from Anheuser Busch at every turn & step of the way since this **** began.... You'd have thought they would have immediately hired the best Crisis Management Consultant Firm money can buy to stop the bleeding, and begin to salvage the Brand... But it just seems they believed their best course of action --- was to take little to no action at all, and just ride it out.. Insane..
I also mentioned a couple weeks into this Tranny Can disaster that AB's best (and now perhaps only remaining) course would be to phase out the BUD-Light Brand, and reintroduce their Light Beer offering under a new / different Label & Name.. To me, this is looking more like their only option... I saw a News interview a couple days ago with a Former AB Senior Exec, who pretty much concurred... He agreed, AB should have immediately been trying to get out in front of the scandal --- but it was allowed to continue & worsen, without intervention to the point it is almost impossible to walk back the damage...
