I recall mentioning that Beer actually does have a shelf life and all of that Tranny-Light Budweiser was forcing into the isles of grocery stores is going stale. Now AB-InBev is revealing that it told its wholesalers that it would buy back any unsold cases of beer that have gone past their expiration date. This was reported by the Wall Street Journal.
Now, get this. Budweiser is poised to launch a line of camouflage cans pandering to veterans, and is looking to ditch the tranny-look for.........what exactly? Is the theme "we're in hiding"? Not only that, lots of beers have had camo cans like: Yuengling, Miller Light, Natural light, many others, even .......get this......BUDWEISER in 2017! So, I guess Budweiser and Bud Light are looking to "hide out" and go into obscurity with their new camo-can. So, Budweiser is just recycling the camo-theme from other beers.
Maybe they should come up with dildo-shaped "camo-can" for queers. OH, SNAP, BUDWEISER ALREADY DID THAT TOO!!!

So what's your take..... Do they try to save it -- or scrap the BUD-Light name and bring back their Light Beer under a new / different label? I'm sticking with the latter... **** rainbow-pimping idiots reduced the best selling Beer in America to a punchline...Skans » 23 May 2023, 7:25 am » wrote: ↑ Whenever a company is trying to pander to two diametrically opposed groups, they really should anticipate this kind of thing happening. The CEO is really the Pandering Executive Officer. The bottom line is he's a piss-poor leader.
Granted, the reaction AB-InBev had to this odd and bizarre marketing stunt was unprecedented. They got away with celebrating gay pride and selling gay-themed beer with little to no conservative backlash. But, this just shows how out of touch a wealthy, foreign CEO trying to run an iconic American brand really is. Now, what is front-and-center is:
- AB-InBev is a foreign owned company
- AB-InBev supports and panders to Homosexuals and their politics
- AB-InBev supports Trans-surgery, just like the woke idiots running our school systems do, which is leading to: 1) kids thinking they are the wrong sex; 2) kids demanding sex reassignment surgery; 3) adult grooming and 4) a rift between parents and the woke **** who are pushing this nonsense.
- AB-InBev has a mamby-pamby squish for a CEO who is a horrible panderer and would direct his company to give away free handjobs to the homeless just to pacify them.
My take is that if the CEO was a decisive man who had any balls, he would quietly shelve the Bud Light brand for now. I wouldn't make any big announcement about it, other than "we will be cutting back production of Bud Light substantially in the coming months".Kobia2 » 23 May 2023, 11:37 am » wrote: ↑ So what's your take..... The reason I wouldn't just scrap it is because I would be focused on saving the Budweiser brand. If you just scrap Bud Light, the "Conservatives" will go after Budweiser. So, I'd sacrifice Bud-Light to save Budweiser.
Then, I'd introduce a new light beer - call it Wizer Light or Wize Light. Switch up the calories a bit, come up with some traditional looking packaging. Of course, this may flop as bad as "New Coke" did. But, I'd only bring limited amounts to market. Then, 2-7 years from now, I would bring back Bud Light - again, at first in limited quantities.
If the CEO genuinely wanted to save Budweiser it would sell the company off to Miller Brewing or an new investment group.
Gives me a chance to try new light beers!
I'm sampling them all!
I like my pizz water!Up at one of our local small stores... All they have is 6 packs of bud lite.
methinks it's more up to the size of the inserter...Skans » 23 May 2023, 8:36 am » wrote: ↑ Xavier informed me that both ends are insertable, depending on the size of the user.

Hey, I actually liked drinking Bud Light. Won't touch it now. And, even if I had a thought about drinking some, my Wife would hack my nuts off for drinking it if she ever caught me. Pabst was bad. IMHO.
Sure they do - it's 100% profit for them. But, that's short-term thinking. Folks, like me, just find the stores where we can get the beer we want to drink.sootedupCyndi » 23 May 2023, 12:58 pm » wrote: ↑ Up at one of our local small stores... All they have is 6 packs of bud lite.
IF - you want to try another brand? They force you to either buy a 15 pack or a case... sneaky ---- They want to move the bud lite stock!
I dont want to choke down a case or hoard it- If i dont like it.!!!!

Word to the Wise Grocery Store Manager - leave the good stuff in the beer coolers and put the out-of-date Buttweiser in the isles "FOR FREE WITH PURCHASE"

Retail (off premise) alcohol laws are different from State to state. In most of the Southern States, there is no "credit" allowed when a retailer buys beer from the distributor for resale in their store. The retailer has to pay in full upon delivery either with cash, check, or money order... and if the distributor needs to pick unsold or damaged product back up after the fact, they have to either actually pay the retailer at that time or swap the product out for more product of equal value.Skans » 23 May 2023, 2:27 pm » wrote: ↑ Word to the Wise Grocery Store Manager - leave the good stuff in the beer coolers and put the out-of-date Buttweiser in the isles "FOR FREE WITH PURCHASE"
You clearly know more about the mechanics of how this works. So, how do you see this playing out?RedheadedStranger » 23 May 2023, 2:46 pm » wrote: ↑ Retail (off premise) alcohol laws are different from State to state. The majority of the other DSD vendors (bread, snacks, etc) run either a 30 or 45 day payment cycle on the product from when it's delivered so the retailer has time to sell it before the note is due and not tie up cash in the inventory, but that's not the case with beer.
Every can of beer that's in a store is owned outright by the retailer from the day is delivered, and by law, the distributor doesn't have to buy it back if they don't want too. They usually will as a matter of good business, but once it's in the store, it belongs to the retailer 100%.
There are also laws that affect the price points on the distributors end as well, and some states even mandate markup percentages at the retail level too... but there are workarounds for that ****.
The beer reps always have some concert tickets or passes to the suite at a ball game to grease some palms when necessary.
