nobody denies that jews died in ww2. that is not the denier position. Many civilians on ALL sides died. the UK immediately started bombing german civilians from the start of the war and 6 months later the germans finally responded in kind.
what revisionists say is simply that there was no plan to exterminate all the jews and particularly not with gas chambers. And the number 6 million is a wild exaggeration.
so...photos of dead jews would no more prove that the germans planned to kill all the jews as photos of dead germans after an allied strike on dresden would prove that the allies wanted to genocide every german...(although the jewish US secretary of the treasury, morganthau, absolutely DID want to).
I believe that the persecution of Jews by the Nazis snowballed over time, and escalated after the war started in 1939.
The Nazis just wanted them gone, and extermination became the path of least resistance to achieve that goal after the war started. Most Jews with money and means got the hell out of Europe before 1939, and many were actually allowed to leave.
If genocide had been the goal from the beginning, that would have never happened.
The Nazis tended to promote sociopaths and psychopaths to the command positions as well, so that didn't help.
