Great! Energy independence. Don't see a downside.

Americans will be actually Energy Independent when the people of this country own the oilfields, th pipelines, the refineries, the delivery trucks and tankers and the stations selling gas, diesel, oil, propane, and LNG.

As it is, giant corporations like ExxonMobil, ConocoPhillips, Texaco, BP and others own all of this. You can buy stock in the companies, but you will have no say in how they are run until you own 51% of the shares.

This country has NEVER BEEN energy independent, buffoon. Big Coal, Big Gas, and Big Oil own the GOP,. which is why they suck up to it.
