on january 14th 1942 a usa aircraft crashed in a remote mountain town of germany. 9 usa troops survived, and were captured by the local police. as all the german men in the village were drafted into the war, there were only women police in the farming village. local jail was used as a prisoner of war camp. soon the local women fell in love with the prisoners of war. got married, milked the cows, had children. at the end of ww2. usa troops marched in. the 9 usa troops were charged with desertion and were to be shot. in comes the russian army. told the usa that the village was under the control of russia. local people cheered. when germany was later united, usa sent in troops to arrest the men. before the usa troops arrived, russia had moved to 9 men and their families into russia. in 2011 the last of the 9 passed away. usa was never able to kill them .  this was a true story. soon to be released at your local theater.

True story with a whole lot of details my dad never talked about as to when his plane was shot down, how long he was held in a Russian gulag between 1942 and 1944. All he ever did mention was when loaded up to be sent home, the men didn't know they were being sent home and thought they were going to be mass executed.

When getting back into American custody, they were debriefed to honor a code of silence until dead if anyone told what actually happened would be court marshalled for treason against United States. Hell of a note those holding them never let them know they were going home and once arriving the home team commanded their stay in Russia remained classified.

So, Secrets within my family, secrets within this country, secrets within mankind and this country was founded honoring self evident truths that by the time 21st century started life got defined by Inconvenient Truths nobody can know how evolution really works scientifically or spiritually, yet genetics follows the same patterns every generation population is changing people in plain sight one at a time.

What is the common denominator to lifetimes never same now in plain sight? Thermodynamic principles and compounding interests.

Only one soldier was officially shot for desertion by the US during WWII, just one.

You want to make heroes out of some soldiers that were simply victims of circumstances. Why?
Because the USSR was such a wonderful place?

The Soviets arrested the officers of the Polish Army as well as all the influential politicians and members of he nobility it could find, several thousand of them and executed them in Katyn Woods and blamed the Nazis for it.

At most these incidents might make an interesting documentary, but neither would make an appealing movie, because it is so damn depressing.

You want to make heroes out of some soldiers that were simply victims of circumstances. Why?
Because the USSR was such a wonderful place?

Misery loves company. Miserable people never let anyone find joy in limited to only occupying time now. Why there was such a notion of original sin, instincts are evil, and intellect is divine knowledge in context used historically against one's own species for personal gain in self deception projecting oneself on a higher plane of existence working people emotionally against themselves.

People do not find stories about how average people are destroyed by oppression to be entertaining.
Novels and movies can have two purposes: to entertain and to inform.

People being victimized are not entertaining. A film or novel about this incident would not inform anyone about how to avoid or counteract victimization.
