I had a friend who killed himself as a result of his Vietnam experiences.
His platoon wiped out a VC village and he sat there smoking a cig.
He couldn't live with that he didn't join in, or he do nothing to stop it.
His name belongs on the Wall.

I remember Mrs. Brown from my old neighborhood.
Her 19 brother was killed in WWII. They had immigrated to America and were here just 2 months when he signed up. Sixty years later she stilled cried for him whenever his name was brought up.
