Actually Russia has much diversity.  For example almost 20 million Muslims.
There are still dozens of native tribes who live the way they did 300 years ago - Leaders never saw the utility of slaughtering them.
The thing is Russians honor being Russian above all else.  
Kadyrov would never refer to himself as a Chechen-Russian.  Thats silly American nonsense

I just checked on Googler.  Seems there are about 150,000 Africans that migrate to work
in the oilfields and other commodity mines such as aluminum, gold etc...

And Im sure they have gays, but social pressure keeps them underground.  Think America 1950s.
