The speed of this decoupling is alarming.
Ive read all the "collapse" predictors for years. Pepe Escobar, Dmitry Orlov, The Saker. And even they are even shocked
at this escalation.

Russians over the years have rarely put up any fight to oppose tyrants and corrupt kleptocrats.
Russia is not a very successful country. Despite all their resources, huge parts of Russia are very poor very miserable third world backwaters wihout even potable water or electricity. The population is shrinking, Life expectancy is declining. Putin's government is a corrupt kleptocracy.
