The speed of this decoupling is alarming.
Ive read all the "collapse" predictors for years.  Pepe Escobar, Dmitry Orlov, The Saker.  And even they are even shocked
at this escalation.

I will take a stab and say provoking this PLANNED war with Russia
was their most excessive act of hubris in that they understood nothing
about Russia or its massively self-contained economy.

And this was the loose stone that broke the dam....?  Thoughts

This is a beautiful thing.

If the planned food shortage affects me (I have only a small garden, but a huge stash), I will sustain myself on the tears of fallen groomers.

Russia was standing at the crossroad: gay rights. They refused to align themselves with western immorality.

You will never get to the children without first pushing through gay rights. Russia was keeping children safe.

The kiddie-diddling left was instructed to revile them.

They brought this on themselves. They cock-blocked the pedophiles.

AND YES - Russia is resource rich. They do not require the favor of the western world. Indeed, the favor of the west would only make their people weak - at a time when the world needs Russians to be Russians.

2014.  Sochi Winter Olympics.  Bob Costas and the PINK EYE.
"Filthy Russian water".  And Russia had just passed the child protection laws you speak of.
Its all they talked about. Image   Image   Image  They were raging angry.

I agree with you

the world is finaly tired of our ****, thats what they didnt expect

you could see it in Marcos eyes when he said "we wont be able to sanction them"

but then I go into default mode ... when I think that I have something figured out, I wonder

well ... how did I get here?

is the US really ****, or have I been convinced that they are?

is this just the newest play for domanance .. are they all just duping me?

does the big club involve Russia and China?

is this just more of the same, from a different angle?

these **** have been at this for a long time

I dont pretend to know whats going on anymore

There are many talented people in Russia. Very seldom do any of them ever manage to actually run the country.
Russians over the years have rarely put up any fight to oppose tyrants and corrupt kleptocrats.
Russia is not a very successful country. Despite all their resources, huge parts of Russia are very poor very miserable third world backwaters wihout even potable water or electricity. The population is shrinking, Life expectancy is declining. Putin's government is a corrupt kleptocracy.

Tara Reid and Eric Snowden ran to Russia... and from what I have read, they aren't the only ones.

Since most of the EU has banned Christian home schooling.
And Russia welcomes such people.
The move to Russia has escalated.
In fact, they encourage it by offering FREE Russian language classes to home schoolers. :)
