Nah... the DOJ hasn't been weaponized.
You goo faced little perv, the hitlery investigation was run by the same fellow who was found to have been her partisan and was found to have espoused hatred of trump and opposition to his running. He immunized the witnesses against hitlery WITHOUT an agreement for their testimony, deliberately sabotaging his own case. He followed THAT impropriety with interviewing them in the "target's" presence. The case was fixed by corrupt officials, up and down the ladder.Prospero » 08 Jun 2023, 6:10 am » wrote: ↑ The case of Bill Clinton wasn't about national defense information documents, it was about audio tapes. so, false equivalency. Regarding the mishandling of national defense information documents, are the cases of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden the same as that of Donald Trump?
Bing AI reports:
The cases of Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are not the same as that of Donald Trump. In 2016, the investigation into Hillary Clinton’s handling of classified material on her private email server dogged her presidential campaign for months – ending with the Department of Justice declining to prosecute her because there wasn’t evidence that she or others intended to mishandle the documents1. On the other hand, Donald Trump was found to have mishandled classified information while he was president2. Joe Biden was also accused of mishandling classified documents when lawyers for him discovered about 10 classified documents at his office in the Penn Biden Center, a nonprofit think tank in Washington, DC. His counsel said the documents were immediately turned over to the National Archives34.
I can't picture pence. I remeber his suit - don't remember him.nefarious101 » 07 Jun 2023, 5:18 pm » wrote: ↑ That's great....since Trump is running the Progressives have found a new love for JEEZ-ZUZ! How do you know what was on Bill's audio tapes?Prospero » 08 Jun 2023, 6:10 am » wrote: ↑ The case of Bill Clinton wasn't about national defense information documents, it was about audio tapes. so, false equivalency. But, I'll include hillary.

How do you?
Didn't say I did.
The audio tapes were not classified documents.
She ordered her server manager to delete personal files two weeks prior to a subpoena, a deletion that is routine. Did Hillary know that her server manager didn't actually delete them until just after the subpoena? No evidence to that claim has yet to be produced in a court of law. Until then, yours is pure speculation. And Hillary definitely exposed America's national security secrets on her personal server, which she wiped after subpoena.
Prosecutions for the mishandling of national defense information documents are not based on the PRA, they are based on the Espionage Act. The circumstances surrounding clinton and the tapes are quite different than the circumstances surrounding Trump's mishandling of national defense information documents.golfboy » 08 Jun 2023, 10:04 pm » wrote: ↑ Didn't say I did.
Fact is that he had records in clear violation of the PRA, regardless of what was on them.
Well, if that is their testimony, it will be perjury, because a federal magistrate would never have signed off on a search warrant to search the home of a former United States President if there was hint of truth in your claim.golfboy » 07 Jun 2023, 8:42 pm » wrote: ↑ Strange how the people who were working with Trump and his team, objected to the raid, order by the DOJ in Washington, because he was cooperating with them. But you idiots said Trump didn't have the right to have those documents, because it was a violation of the PRA. I guess that was a lie too.Prospero » 09 Jun 2023, 3:55 am » wrote: ↑ Prosecutions for the mishandling of national defense information documents are not based on the PRA, they are based on the Espionage Act. Given that Senators and members of the exec branch routinely remove classified docs and take them home, (with the expectation of returning them) the DOJ policy is to give them the benefit of the doubt if they are discovered later and not returned, that they were inadvertently acquired. All that occurs as that juncture is that the person cooperate fully in the return of the documents.
That was the case with Biden and Pence, but is not the case with Trump.
Sorry, you have no evidence for that claim.golfboy » 09 Jun 2023, 5:53 pm » wrote: ↑ lol. You have no idea how the legal system works, do you?
They raided his house because he had documents showing the FBI spied on his 2018 campaign, and they wanted them back before he could put them in a book.

Oh, and the espionage act requires that Trump intended to hurt America. It will be intereting to see prosecutors trying to prove that in court.
How was Clinton's case different? Well, besides him having a "D" after his name...
And how about Sandy Berger? Why wasn't he prosecuted for stealing documents from a SCIF?
And you're lying about Biden returning the documents. He STILL has hundreds of boxes of documents at the Univ of Delaware, and at his Chinatown office.
Weird he would keep government documents in Chinatown, don't you think?
