‘Learned from Jussie’: Ben Shapiro, others accuses Elliot Page of lying about being hit with transphobic slur (msn.com)

Actor Elliot Page is one of the most famous transgender men in the world. In his memoir, Pageboy, he shares his journey of coming out and living as his authentic self.In one harrowing episode, Page recounts being confronted by an angry stranger in Los Angeles last year. According to the Washington Post's review of his book, Page wrote that he was taking a walk when a man approached him and said menacingly, "I'm going to beat you up, f*****." (Some outlets have reported that the man instead said he was going to "gay bash" Page.) Page fled into a nearby store. From outside the door, he wrote, the man yelled, "This is why I need a gun!"
According to conservative contrarian Ben Shapiro, Page did not file a police report. In Shapiro's mind, this implies it didn't happen. (The Daily Dot has not confirmed whether Page reported the alleged incident to the police or how Shapiro may have confirmed that.)On Tuesday, the day Pageboy was released, Shapiro tweeted, "Wow, another supposed hate crime in public that ended with no police report! Shocking how often this happens when celebrities claim victimhood."
Another said Page's story becoming public was "convenient timing" coming at the onset of Pride Month.Shapiro's tweet prompted a flood of transphobia and misgendering, both of which have plagued Page since he came out. Many people separately accused the actor of lying."It’s so wild. This happened a year ago and we hear about it the same day Page’s book is released," wrote @BarbaraCastor2.Some of Shapiro's followers inferred that Shapiro was alluding to actor Jussie Smollett, who staged a hate crime and was later convicted of lying to the police.
 
 
 

I am currently reading PageBoy... pretty boring honestly. A lot of trying to guess what person x or person y thought about Elliott or Ellen doing this or that.

Hate me all you want but I do not see the big deal about her/him. I keep thinking, "I must be missing something". I have watched the show, Umbrella Academy, and while it is mostly good... it is nothing to rave about. 

That girl is one deranged ****. A perfect representation of a good, proud Democrat.

She was good actress: Juno, Inception, Hard Candy, and a few others. Not on the A -List like a Jessica Chastain or Charlize Theron, but decent. I haven't seen The Umbrella Academy. I've heard good things.

Its entertaining but I would not say that him/her is the best actor/actress on the show. Of her  work, I have only watched Inception and the Umbrella Academy and was not blown away. Still, I do not see what is so remarkable about him/her. I read a book named Tranny about the singer for the punk rock, Against Me, going tranny and that was a tad bit interesting. Only because even in the punk rock community which is known for embracing change... even they did not know what to do.

Why is it, exceptions get all the attention and privileges the average always pay for the exceptional persons being in charge of tomorrows the silent majority having to sacrifice their biological time to pretend nobody knows how evolving works in plain sight?

        I've never heard of this person.... am I wrong in guessing it's a woman?

It was. Now its a man. I googled it. Never heard of that person before either. 
when it was a woman- it had a high forehead. didn't look right.

     As for its allegations of the threat of being "Gay-Bashed" , this was supposed to have happened outside a nice Hotel in Los Angeles --- which just on its own tells us this is a complete lie.... Most of the Hotel staff, guests and people that live in the surrounding area are probably just like Elliot.

Have read just under half of her book, Pageboy.. not all that interesting. I do not find trans people to be all that interesting or shocking.

Upscale hotels in all major cities have doormen and valets who don't **** play. They have a shakedown racket running on their little sidewalk ecosystem. Not only do the guests tip them for hailing cabs or holding spots for limos, but the drivers kick back. They make very good money - and they do not play. You **** with a guest, they feed you your teeth.
