I lived and learned. PayPal advertises how secure they are when using them for transactions. ****!
My financial institution, NOT PayPal, send me a potential fraud alert text, the very same day my PayPal was used at some WALMART three states away...two charges amounting to around $700.00. I didn't even use PayPal...someone managed to get into my PayPal account with only my credit card.

I had used my card at an airport for a few things the day before. I'm thinking that since the airport here has mostly Mudslime, East Indian, Somali, and other assorted brown trash who barely speak English, one of those brown pigs has a secondary credit card scam business on the side.

Yes, it was fraud, and I had my credit card cancelled. I called PayPal to stop service with them. They asked if it was about ONE potential fraudulent charge. They didn't even mention the second charge. Then they gave me about every prompt there was concerning opening up a fraud case, but nothing about cancelling my PayPal.

I finally found a spot where it asked if I wanted to cancel. I marked "yes". Then the "Are you sure you want to do this" ****. Instead of having a tab which I could press and opt out, they ask to call a phone number. I called the number, and there was no prompt for cancelling. I was forced to speak with customer service.
I was placed on eternal hold.

**** those idiots. Looks like I'll keep my account, but just leave my expired card on the site.

PayPal is NOT secure, and they make it very difficult to disenroll.

**** business and not at all customer friendly.

If you have Paypal, be prepared to have your credit card hacked.  My advice...don't ever use them.
