When I was 15 I went out to the jetty with a group of friends - we were all tripping balls on microdot. They started playing chicken with the waves. One guy touches a rock while the water is out, and the next guy has to touch a farther rock in the next lull. They were quite astounded that I refused to play - I was known as the ballsiest one in our group. But it's like I explained to them: I know how this ends. And of course, that is exactly how it ended. Happily, no one died. But one guy - praise Karma, the one guy that had it coming - got busted up pretty good.
