Now, I know you don't live anywhere in America.  Everyone knows that Coyotes, wild pig and deer are far more abundant as a food sources than dogs and cats. 

Now, in Russia, dogs and cats roam the streets begging for food because the Russians can no longer afford to feed their dogs and cats.  Pitiful, really.  Most of the Russian men have been killed in war and Russian city-widows are piss-poor hunters.
