Garth Brooks loves money. I have to wonder how much AB-InBev is paying him.impartialobserver » 22 Jun 2023, 10:25 am » wrote: ↑ Somewhat related is Garth Brooks aligning himself with Bud Light. I think that this is not a good decision on his part. Music is tied in very closely with one's emotions and therefore one's politics. We drink Bud Light because it is cheap and available anytime and anywhere. Garth Brooks music on the other hand is sought out because it echoes your sentiments in some way.

Just speculation on my part. I'm not really too concerned with what Garth Brooks does. He's a singer-entertainer.impartialobserver » 22 Jun 2023, 10:57 am » wrote: ↑ I do not have access to his financials so your guess is as good as mine. I can see his concerts not being as hot of a ticket as they used to be. When he played in Boise in 2019... it was crazy. Tickets for the first show sold out in an hour and the second one sold out in less than 2 days. For something to take the place of Boise State football in the pecking order is unheard of. Yet I was there in July 2019 and it is all that the locals could talk about.

I feel so, so bad...Skans » 22 Jun 2023, 9:41 am » wrote: ↑ The latest numbers as tracked by Nielsen IQ / Bump Williams Consulting, show that even as of mid-June, Bud Light sales were 30.3 percent lower than in the same week in 2022. This is now the largest drop in sales since the Mulvaney incident.
Now, AB-InBev is forced to acknowledge that Anheuser-Busch's other beer brands continue to see sales impacted by the Budweiser Gay-Pride and Tranny beer campaigns. Budweiser is suffering from a 10.2 percent revenue decline in the week ending June 10. Busch Light saw a 4.2 percent drop in the same period, and Natural Light a 2.3 percent fall. In fact, nearly all InBev products have seen some decline in sales.
