OOOOH. My drinking buddy drives me to the chiro- He drops me off. Picks me up.
But the idiot can not drive by a McDonalds on the way home...
so i watch him buy a hamburger- its 1/8 thick.
next thing- he pays like 7 bucks for a plain fish fillet.
I say BOB! We have the same thing at the house.. way better- like Gortons fish fillets. Buck a piece! It's a fifteen minute trip home.
Then he tries the chicken McNuggets? eww- all tough little buggers.
Then he moves on to Dunkin Donuts- Just as bad.
I laugh and laugh and laugh.

Actually, eating at small local restaurants is way cheaper and better. I walk across the street to a small local diner. Complete large breakfast for about $8. Large bowl of soup or chili is $4.50-$5. All homemade. Even fresh baked bread. I stopped off at Burger King for an Impossible Whopper, and saw the price of a Whopper meal: $12.79 plus tax.
I took my adult grandson out for a birthday lunch at a small local restaurant, and since we didn't get drinks, it was under $30. And this was a cool, trendy, little bistro and bakery with homemade rolls and organic local products.
When we finished lunch I asked my grandson whether he would rather have the organic, homemade meal or the about same price meal at Burger King; and he said he was definitely not going back to Burger King.
BTW, I'm having fun with omh again; if you would like to check it out.
