 Lincoln republicans were ignorant paranoid communist control freaks from the beginning, groupie group fix this this and groupie group fix that. A slave could not get any individual legal representation due to being classified as only being a percentage of a human in the law. Lincoln never argued that slaves were fully human in a court, he just formed an army and attacked his own civilian population who became owned by a corporation commune like a crop of genetic modified soy beans.
