Is the victim black? Is the perpetrator white? If both conditions are not met then it's a local news story at best. Dead cop? Depending on the location it might not even make the local news.

I gather the question in this thread has to do with why this case is not given as much attention by the media as George Floyd being murdered by a cop got.
The simple answer is that "NEWSFLASH! DOG BITES MAN!" is not really news. Dogs bite men all the time.
