A classmate of mine grew tired of retirement and decided to study holistic farming.  He is now a consultant who helps cattle ranchers adopt new and better grazing techniques.  This article from CNN discusses one of the techniques he teaches, AMP Grazing, and I think it is fascinating.

If it doesn't help the planet to warm up some of those huge frost-bitten lands where I'd like to purchase land, then I'm not interested.  This planet is too cold.  We need to do something more to warm up the planet.
