There will be no gold standard. The only way to do that is for each gold standard nation to back its currency with gold. That means, that any time someone wants to exchange paper for some of China's gold, they can run down their nearest Chink-Bank and "Cha-Chink" - they pick up their gold. Ain't gonna happen.Sumela » 10 Jul 2023, 10:18 am » wrote: ↑ BIDEN REGIME's constant sky screaming at the world has produced

You are ignorant and have no response to this. China cannot amass enough gold to back their currency. And, it would foolish to do so. What it can do is amass gold so that it appears to be a wealthy nation, one capable of paying its debts. But, that is not the "gold standard". And, you are clearly not educated in economics or monetary policy. See, unlike @peepee , I actually do know what I'm talking about and can put you in your place without hesitation, expletives or even trading insults.
I trust the experts Xi and Putin and Modi and their advisors.Skans » 11 Jul 2023, 1:03 pm » wrote: ↑ You are ignorant and have no response to this.
