Liberal Forum

It's a new world.  A world in which strong governments have been given the "nod" to expand using military force and take that land which they are able to.  We need to be a part of this new expansionism.  America needs to revive its policy of manifest destiny. 

We should take Eastern Russia and make it part of the United States. It is mostly uninhabited.  Russia has failed to utilize this massive land area and its inhabitants would be a non-issue.  Russia, in its weakened state, simply cannot defend this land.  China has been eyeing it for decades as a natural place to expand.  America should too.

We should take this land for our own while we still can.  Not with Biden at the helm, but with a stronger, more decisive president. 

That is a fantasy.

They have tactical nuclear weapons and would use them on the first NATO column.

Whoopty do.  So do we.  And, we could use them first.  Ever think of that?  Crimea was ripe for the taking - Russia took it.  Russia thought Ukraine was ripe for the taking, so it tried to take that too.  Well, now Russia is weak and all of Eastern Russia is ripe for the taking.  Stop being such a ****** and let's get what should and could be ours.

Once upon a time, America was an expansionist nation.  So was Britain, Holland and others.  Now, Russia is trying its hand at expansionism.  But, Russia is weak.  The US has strength and resources.  Russia cannot hold onto all of the weak, autonomous oblasts in its east.  It is time to take what we can.  I am planting this seed for a time when we have an apt Leader.

Russia is getting in bed with China, India, Iran and Saudi. The unipolar world we established at the end of wwii is coming to an end. We should manage this reality and stop with the fantasy of empire.

Actually, it's Ukraine that's running out, not the US. Biden wants to send cluster bombs to help them take on the Russian invading tanks. Either way, it's not a good idea. Cluster bombs break apart into tiny bombs in the air, which make it impossible to prevent civilian casualties. They are not designed for precision.

What a time to be alive. If this occurs, we see the end of Russia, China becomes stronger, and America becomes larger. What an era. This will go down as the era between the powers of the empires. History is full of examples of empires taking over the weak. But rarely empires taking on empires.

This is how a ****** thinks.  The ****** says "manage the reality of weak nations ganging up to push us around.  The ****** bleeds "Be happy with what you have, and don't worry about Nations who are expanding their powers and lands as they so choose".

Well, I'm here to tell you and everyone else that we have a real opportunity here.  An opportunity has opened in the midst of Russian weakness.  If global warming is real, we should be gathering all of the cooler lands and tundra that we can get our hands on for imminent migration.  We should be taking that which can be taken, just as we did 100 - 400 years ago. 

I have studied the maps, the cities, the Oblasts of Russia, and I know they are beyond vulnerable in the East.  I know that an American military could march a thousand miles westward of the Russia's pacific border and secure these lands as our own, with little to no resistance.   Russia could not possibly deploy any military forces to stop us.  They would have to rely on foreign powers to assist them.  And, in doing so, we could negotiate to keep best of Russia's Eastern land while giving some back to placate countries like China.

In 1963 the Russians were godless communists spreading atheism and a failed monetary policy. They worked to destabilize capitalist nations by directly supporting racial and cultural divisions found in such nations. They continue to support groups on both sides of the political isle, recently spending millions to support blm and the nra. Divisions help Russia, this strategy hasn't changed since 1920. 

In 1963 the US was exporting freedom of speech, freedom of the press, freedom of religion. We gave billions to aid suffering around the globe with no expectation of recompense. We supported Judeo Christian values and nuclear families. 

Things have changed since 1963. America no longer exports freedom but rather perversion. We no longer give billions to starving people, our corporations move in and exploit the vulnerable. Free markets are allowed as long as they do business using the American dollar. Those trying to get away from this often find themselves regime changed out of a job. 

Times have changed. America is no longer the unquestionable force for good that we once were.

Worse. Decades after the war is over they continue to kill innocent people. It's no better than using landmines. They should be illegal.

We just lost a 25 year war of attrition against a nation of nomadic goat ****. They didn't have nuclear weapons. They didn't have heavy industry. They didn't have indoor plumbing.
