I have been pondering what "modernity" really means for a while. Normally this is where people with Masters and PhDs in the liberal arts and social sciences would chime in, but, seeing as there is no legitimate room for actual debate in higher education due to the prevalence of ideology, I decided posting this here would be resonant (despite the higher levels of retardation).

(By the way, unlike you conservative retards, I DO believe there is a great deal of value in the liberal arts and social sciences. As a matter of fact, it was the left's takeover of these departments that allowed their ideologies to proliferate in the first place. Get that through your thick skull.)

That being said, I am not so retarded as to spend $20K+ a yr for 2-4 yrs to procure a piece of paper with the words "Master of [X]" or "Doctorate of [X]."

1. No Lives Matter

When a soldier dies today, whether it's some poor chap from Kansas sent off to Iraq to "defend freedom" or some гопник from the Urals participating in Putin's "special military operation," there is almost always some sort of fanfare or service to commemorate the person's death.

However, these rituals are largely meaningless because human lives are...well, to put it bluntly, not worth anything these days. Uunless you are the modern equivalent of Tesla, Watson, or Planck, you are a disposable peon.

Back in 80000 B.C., it was not uncommon for a tribe or village to lose 50-80% of its members were they to be raided or assaulted in the middle of the night by another tribe or village. Many of these miniature societies were simply wiped from existence if the remaining members were incapable of sustaining themselves. In other words, every death mattered, and mattered greatly. The value of a human life was very high - and easy to lose. 

As the liberal Steven Pinker noted, societies have become less violent over time. It appears @FOS  agrees with him as he noted that, in contrast to earlier times (the ancient "predecessors" of fascism, if you will), even the fascism of today is quite moderate. Fascism called for a lower level of violence than the philosophies embraced by ancient emperors and kings (whatever you wish to call them), even though practically everyone today - whether socialists, communists, retarded conservatives, retarded liberals, retarded libertarians, etc. - think fascism is "extreme." 

Yes, fascism is "extreme" when you compare it to Wall Street whores (Democrats + Republicans) whose goal is to service the international finance oligarchy. It's not so extreme when you examine history.

Thanks to the "Green revolution" there are also now more people than ever before. The value of something tends to be inversely related to its quantity - more people = less value per person, yet we are expected to believe that "human lives are valuable." 

Or my favorite slogan - "All lives matter." 

The truth is the opposite. A human life today is almost worthless. YOU are worthless. 
 
 

2. Boredom 

Modern life is very boring.

The majority of people in any society today, whether capitalist or "socialist," are MCWS (middle class wage slaves) or BNPWS (barely-not-poor wage slaves). It's important for society to be structured this way so that they work and pay taxes to support the system.

(Sorry Marxists, but wage slavery seems to be here to stay...forever XD)

(Note to retarded conservatives: Please do not cite the retarded "statistics" that "the rich pay 70-80% of the taxes" or whatever your talking point masters have told you to regurgitate because you have a different definition of "rich" from me.

When I use the word "rich" I mean "the really wealthy" = 50M+ net worth and those people do not work, thus they pay very little income taxes. Yes, even the people making $900K/yr from income are not "rich." So **** off)

MCWS and BNPWS go to school for anywhere from 12 - 20 years depending on their temperament, aptitude, financial situation, and personal interests, and then work for "Da Man."

"Da Man" is either

A) some faceless corporation with thousands of shareholders (consistently hoping for stock price increase)

or

B) some penny pinching small business "entrepreneur" attempting to sell the latest FOMO product - supplements, protein powders/shakes, Amazon/eBay eCommerce "courses," solar panels, beard cream, hydroponics equipment, selfie sticks - whatever is "in style" so they can maximize profits and hope for a quick retirement for the purpose of avoiding (A) 

Basically this is the game. You go to some public or private school and then try to make a lot of $$$.

(For "Da Man" BTW, not for yourself - that wouldn't be condoned by your masters. Ever wonder why there are thousands of "licensed" occupations these days?)

Much wow. Much excite. Throw in some drugs and alcohol, prostitutes/"Tinder swiping" whores, Hollywood superhero movies, rodeos, etc. 

Now you might wonder how this is any different from societies of previous eras.

Well, people back then were more ignorant as science wasn't really available. Possibly less retarded (as you REALLY needed street smarts in the absence of institutionalized education, which can to a certain degree compensate for a lack of intelligence), but they believed in all sorts of superstitions.

I am not inclined to believe life was less boring back then. Definitely more precarious...but it's still boring today, nonetheless, so I am in perfect reason to describe this as one of the pillars of "modernity" - boring as ****.

Despite all its flaws, modern psychology has nailed one of the tenets of human existence. No purpose/meaning = no life. 

Most people today do not believe in anything from the bottom of their hearts.

Whether it's libtards who want to "stop global warming" or conjobs who (claim to) go to church to worship the Lord and Savior, most of the notable action you see today (assuming there is any) comes at very little cost. There is basically nothing to lose.

This is why the January 6 "insurrectionists" greatly amused me. Here you have a group of true believers  - people who believe

1) The Orange Dotard has their best interests at heart and isn't just another grifter exploiting legitimate grievances against neoliberalism

2) The Orange Dotard had the election "stolen" from him by da peepul! at Dominion, Facebook, Clinton's camp, election oversight committees, RINOs who betrayed them, whatever

See, THAT'S the kind of passion that makes a person alive, misguided as it is. Sadly, it is difficult to see that kind of passion almost anywhere. 

The solution?

There are a few things in life that can be used to "keep track of you".
Example:
Every year corporations have merit reviews for salaried employees.
Good or average ratings can be used. Also bad reviews can be used.
But when? Most are never looked at until you are already being scrutinized.
Time for a raise or promotion? Time to be let go? That's when.

So it is with CIA tracking us.
Most people probably have data collected about us but it will never be scrutinized.
Face it: Most of us aren't worth the time.
