The internet. Before the internet, if we wanted to talk ****, we had to do it in person. Consequences would be established because of it. This made our generation more mindful, brave, and respectful. Generations today grew up without these consequences. They can talk **** to people online all day and never receive consequences. This makes them spoiled and weak. It also makes people afraid to confront others when they are wrong. That is why the left are able to sexualize our children without much resistance. 

Disagree. Conversations use to be limited to those hearing them in person. They had limited reach to the participants and those perhaps in earshot. Debate was more respectful but the consequence today for saying something against the current norm has far more potential for life altering consequence.

Real issue with the internet is compartmentalization. Those with any predilection or fetish or political belief can find thousands of like minded people. These self affirming echo chambers build micro communities without the challenge of debate.
