House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., spoke to reporters after former President Trump said he received a target letter from special counsel Jack Smith's investigation into election interference and the January 6 Capitol riot. He claimed the potential indictment would be another example of "weaponized government" against the former president.

I'd yell "MCCARTHY FOR PRESIDENT" from my car window as I'm driving, but we need him as the House Speaker and Dick Cheney for President.  Maybe Dick can take those PITA daughters of his on a hunting trip and "start over".
 

Two observations;

1 - The Speaker of the House did not lose his Constitutional rights when he accepted that office. He has a right to give his opinion.

2 - I am glad the Biden administration continues to show the voters it is perfectly acceptable to investigate your political opponents and that it is not an impeachable offense like it was a few years ago.

 It's the bogus republicans such as Koch, ALEC, MAGA who are throwing republicans under the bus on many issues.

Remember it is the democrats that are working for the old school republicans, republicans for choice, Catholics for choice plus the many other issues that impact republicans.

Republican and Democrat business owners need immigrant workers to provide good service most immigrant workers are anything but lazy....... 

Frankly I do not like how Biden resorts to compromise extreme. It's time to put many issues the voters no matter the cost. I do not trust that many politicians on either side of the aisle at this point.

What you are apparently too stupid to understand is that the voters HAVE given consent.  The way things work in this country is voters elect people to represent THEM at various levels. A US Senator is not in Washington to represent everyone...they are there to represent the people of their state.  If they don't, there is a way for the people to put a stop to what they do.

Just because YOU don't agree with the compromise does not me the voters have not consented to said compromise.
