Lawmakers said they had "an argument" with a commanding officer at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida as they pushed for answers about UFOs.Reps. Tim Burchett, R-Tenn., and Anna Paulina Luna, R-Fla, said their efforts to disclose records about UFOs, or what the government calls unidentified anomalous phenomenon (UAP), have been met with resistance from the Pentagon and intelligence community.Lawmakers will hear from former military service members David Grusch, Ryan Graves and David Fravor during the House's national security subcommittee meeting next Wednesday, Burchett said at Thursday's press conference.
"The Pentagon and Washington bureaucrats have kept this information hidden for decades, and we’re finally going to shed some light on it," Burchett said. "We’re bringing in credible witnesses who can provide public testimony because the American people deserve the truth. We’re done with the cover-ups.

When I was a kid in 1973 me and Eddie Boggs saw a big UFO over Spout Spring Hollow.

Now no matter how much you might try and say we were just little hillbilly boys with over active imaginations, I know what I saw, and it was a UFO.

I’m glad the Republicans are  launching  hearings on this.

Inquiring minds want to know, you know?
Hey Bruce, interesting post. I myself do not believe that we have been visited by any alien race.  The reason that I believe what I do is because 1) I don't believe faster than light speed travel is possible, and 2) if it is, the time and energy that it would still take to get here isn't worth it just to observe a race of chimps running around in the zoo. Heck, most people have completely lost interest in going to zoos anymore. So, I doubt any alien race would be all that interested in us.

However, I do believe that the US government has been hiding a lot of information from American Tax-Payers regarding UFO phenomena for over 70 years.  They have been doing so while getting handsomely paid with OUR hard-earned tax revenue.  So, I am quite interested in peeling back the cover-up which our government has been engaged in.  Yes, I want answers and I want these SOB's grilled by congress until they dump all of their information on us, or drown from water-boarding.

Good topic - just ignore the resident Russian who doesn't want to discuss anything unless it furthers his pro-Russia agenda.

I think UFOs are of three broad categories

Individuals who report UFOs are attention seekers

When a lot of people report UFOs it is usually a mass delusion

And when pilots report UFOs we’d better listen

Eddie and I lived 200 yards apart.  I’ve measured it since with a laser rangefinder

Kids are inquisitive. We’d discovered that about dark the human voice travels well enough we could visit in the still of the evening.

When we saw it, we stopped talking.  It came from the south and travelled a few hundred yards in dead silence at several hundred miles an hour with flashing red lights, until when it reached directly between me and Eddie we both quit looking and raced almost **** our pants to our homes blabbering about it.

Our mothers called the other.

They dismissed it, not as a hoax, but kids exaggerating.

I’m convinced today we saw a military prototype craft with terrain masking.  In the fifty years since seeing an A-10 Warthog fly the same pattern is routine.  The Ozarks terrain duplicates the Fulda Gap.

It wasn’t until private pilots reported those to air traffic control that Gene Taylor launched his own investigation.

And since Gene Taylor was a member of the 108th Missouri Cavalry from 1945-7 he was not some god damned Russian loving fool like many (not all) Republicans today are.

So, I find it interesting that, as a kid, you and your friend saw what you thought was a UFO, but re-thinking this as an adult, you seem to think it was one of our own military craft. Which makes sense.

It's not that I don't think there is intelligent life elsewhere in the Universe, perhaps even in our Galaxy.  But, even our Galaxy is huge beyond human comprehension.  The distance just between Earth and the nearest star is mind-numbingly expansive.  It is very likely that even if there is intelligent life elsewhere in our Galaxy, the distance would make it impossible for them to even know about us.  Anything over 100 light years away wouldn't have even received our first radio broadcasts yet.

Furthermore, where is everybody, if alien visitation of earth is real?  Think about it.  Would humans expend significant resources to keep their presence hidden from inhabitants of a world it traveled to to make contact?  Not likely.

I belonged to a strange and wonderful Christian Church growing up.  It was much fun to attend church we didn’t miss it.

They had young people’s classes where modern topics were discussed.

What if God isn’t an old man with a white beard who took a rib from Adam and turned out a smoking hot babe like a celestial pimp might?

What if God s a pimple faced teenager and we are in a fishbowl and we are His science project?

Sort of explains World War Two, don’t it?.:)

Enjoy a mysterious song, we figured out in the Young Christian’s Class

Performed by two devout Christians (only).

To prove how gullible people are about false connections.

Richard Nixon was in Dallas on November 22, 1963.

Was Tricky Dick on the grassy knoll?.Image

Was Nixon with Ted Cruz’s father and Oswald?

All any visiting Alien craft would need to experience is to fly over Detroit, Chicago, or any other Democrat controlled city to conclude our Planet was a case study in Devolution...

They ain't coming over here to do that!  They will have their Robot send their drone's drone to do the flyover. That's how important we are.
