Every day, upon waking, I am flabbergasted...nay, speechless   , at how advanced our society is, all thanks to the little tome written almost 250 yrs ago by that special economist.

1. Flimsy toilet paper at the supermarket 

Not so long ago...perchance 3 decades, give or take 1, toilet paper you'd wipe your *** with (and what "Brandon's" handler's servants use for "Brandon" most certainly, assuming "Brandon" isn't wearing diapers) at the supermarket's restrooms was thick. It didn't break easily and you wouldn't "feel" the poopoo on the other side. 

Then some genius, likely with a MBA from Harvard, Northwestern, or Stanford, came along and told the C-suite, "If you guys just bought the CHEAPEST and LOWEST GRADE toilet paper, [your supermarket chain] can save close to a million dollars per year!"

And of course, this MBA collected his "consulting fee" of $200K based off imaginary $700K/yr in savings for the likes of Kroger or Walmart. All for a PowerPoint presentation made 1 day prior to his showing in front of the big wigs (and he probably pulled an all-nighter, so in reality it's 0.5 days prior).

(As an aside, please note that conservative retards think this type of person "works hard" and totally isn't a grifter/conman who just happens to wear a nice suit to impress easily impressed morons)

Of course, what the C-suite members (all whom collect huge stock compensation + salaries and have an unwarranted ego to boot because of the aforementioned) didn't realize is that anyone who respects and understands personal hygiene is going to use as much toilet paper as necessary because having crusted feces up your *** is both uncomfortable and disgusting. 

So the real "savings" is $0/yr. Amazing!

(In case you are too retarded to figure out why: because instead of using an average of [X] plies per **** based on quality toilet paper, people will use [2X] - possibly [3X] if the toilet paper is really garbage - plies on average so any "cost savings" is negated).

Please explain why citizens in European countries have higher levels of regoolayshun w/ lower costs (for example, cost of transportation and utilities).

(This reminds me of a time when a conservative retard told me that the reason McDonald's is so expensive is due to rising wages and "nobody wanting to work."

I told him McD's workers in Denmark make close to $25/hr and their menu prices are only marginally more expensive - all due to highly restrictive immigration policies - which conservatives CLAIM to support but don't - as well as high rates of unionization - which conservatives despise because they love slobbering over corps)

Despite decades of "tax cutting," the taxes here in the states are quite onerous. This is one of the few claims made by conservative retards that ACTUALLY is true, for once!

This is curious because conservatives vote for politicians who CLAIM they support "free markets, lower taxes, blah blah" yet taxes have gone through the roof over the past 5 decades.

So...not ONLY do you get to pay NOSEBLEED PRICES for just about everything (not TVs or electronics), you ALSO get to pay nigh Europe-level taxes!
