I think that over the next 5 years, Platinum is set to go up in value more so than any of the other precious metals. Here's why:

• The platinum to gold price ratio is historically at an all time low.
• The price of palladium has dropped drastically, while the price of platinum has remained relatively stable.
• The platinum to silver price ratio is quite high right now.
• The extraction and processing costs of platinum are very high
• Platinum is an industrial metal and used for jewelry
• Platinum mining is nearly all in Africa or Russia.  The Chinese are buying up the platinum mines in Africa.

Do what you may with this information.

Buy an S & P index fund, which is large cap blue chip American stocks.

The average return for over 100 years is 10% not counting dividends.

• How are the following companies doing today?

  • Washington Mutual
  • Theranos
  • Texaco
  • Kmart
  • Sears
  • Eastern Airlines
  • American Motors

Not everything works out the way you want it to - so you better take 10% of your wealth and put it into something that will allow you to rebuild if you screw the pooch.....or Biden drafts your pooch to fight in Ukraine and it gets curb-stomped.
