Edward Snowden chimed in as to why the sudden interest into UFOs by the government. His perspective is that the government wants to begin a new military branch, the Star Wars program. It's not about UFOs in reality, it's a convenient disguise to try justify funding for the program.
A Department of Defense whistleblower made a number of shocking claims about unexplained aerial phenomena — or UAPs, the updated government term for UFOs — during testimony in a congressional hearing on Wednesday.Among his many claims made under oath, former U.S. intelligence official David Grusch told the House Oversight Committee that “non-human” beings had been retrieved from spacecraft.A former combat officer, Grusch co-led the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency’s Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) analysis from late 2021 to July 2022. Grusch filed a complaint to Congress, alleging that he faced illegal retaliation for his confidential disclosures. Within those disclosures was information demonstrating “intact and partially intact vehicles” related to UAPs.

In the clips I heard from his testimony, most of it was from unnamed sources that supposedly told him or fell into the category of "I could tell you, but then I would have to kill you". Until real evidence is presented (that you can touch, see and read) this is nothing (IMO).

why is it every reality has the same philosophy about nobody can disprove a negative while positive ideas are what corrupts this species inside out each generation gap added.

Balance is averaging expanding details being equal to contracting results. Contracting results were folded evolving into the future to erode and decompose tomorrow. the exchange time all this happens universally is now.

Not sure which is more pathetic, thinking aliens are a threat we could counter with increased defense spending or that plant food is a threat we need to kill/remove/not replace billions of people to reduce. Both are categorically stupid.

It's the plant food one.

Aliens may be easily beaten. Why wouldn't that be possible?
They probably didn't come armed with more **** than necessary.
Explorers, not conquerors.

The plant one is complete trash that ranks below aliens...
Please seat yourself.

Didn't we already form a Space Force a couple years ago ----- complete with Star Trek style Logo?

With today's technology, it would be very difficult to tell what is real or not. 20 years ago you could tell that video or pics have been manipulated. With AI getting better and better, it will be nearly impossible.

True. However, China has expressed interest in starting a Star Wars program. They aren't coming up with some lame excuse to start one, like hiding behind the premise of aliens. Nonetheless, if China starts one, then of course our government is going to start a bigger one.

European explorers accidentally killed millions of native people with diseases, if one believes that narrative. There was only a few thousand years of geographic separation and only a couple hundred years in technology difference. Aliens capable of faster than light travel or space/time folding would be far superior technologically. Plenty of uninhabited planets to harvest resources from. If they are here, it's to observe the wild life.  Fearing plant food is likely the more ridiculously retarded.

Nukes in space ends Mutually Assured Destruction. They would gain first and only strike capability which wouldn't be tolerated. Cuban missile crisis on crack.

Perpetual motion exists naturally between all extremes between contracting combinations and expanding details never staying same form created twice now.

From the atom to Adam and Eve and all that evolves between having unique life cycles in plain sight now.

Core of perpetual balancing is time occupying space adapting to the moment as specifically living with an ever changing form since arriving in an inorganic atmosphere supporting ancestral lineages one lifetime ata time collectively here in one of 5 generation gaps and each fertilized cell changing active population each great great grandchild born one at a time now. I used to be a great great grandchild, now I am one of 4 grandparents while I never evolved exceeding being alive here one at a time.

Self evident proportion and displacement.

Know how eternity works before prossiming a tomorrow that never existed.

Anyone notice it is the same old semantics developed from the original "Day the earth stood still" movie.

It's not ****.
It helps the American People - because we want to know and we deserve to know.
Not everything is about trying to hurt the other party - Republicans understand that.
I watched the testimony, and it seemed very credible.

There apparently have been secret government operations concerning alleged alien space craft and "non-human biologics".  Our tax dollars are paying for this - I deserve to know!!!

You deserve the truth.

It’s bull ****, a fairy tale, and impossible.

The nearest star is over four light years away.

https://earthsky.org/astronomy-essentia ... -neighbor/

Fuel that rocket, to it.

Develop a light speed space ship.

And then after that worry about the sorry little creatures that inhabit one of it’s planets.

Geezus.

An advanced alien civilization that could get here, would not be sly about it.:)

I agree with all of that.  And, I've said exactly what you have myself.  But, I found the testimony truthful and compelling.  Is it possible to travel faster than light speed without using all of the energy of a star to do so?  I don't think so, but I don't know that for sure either.   Crazier things have been theorized.  Like the entire universe coming from a microscopic singularity that came from nothing.

we wouldn't let China come to our international space station, so they built their own

few people that I talk to even knows that they have one

I'm sure they have a Star Wars type program going on

we are dropping our space station into the ocean in 2030

then they will have the only one

I looked it up ... looks like they are kicking ***
