I’ve known about the theories of our second President John Adams for fifty years.
If you read the constitution with an elitist, fascist, mind then when Adams was President you can:
1. At the time the state legislators picked Senators.
2. The states still have the control over conducting elections
3. Adams reasoned that an elite, much like in Plato’s Republic, all of the same patrician interests, would limit the vote to themselves, not only in the legislature but in general elections. The legislators they elected would also elect the slate of electors.
Adams denied he’d preached that, but most of his contemporaries claimed he did.
240 years of actual practice is America is NOT a patrician Republic but a universal democracy for citizens over 18.
And we should lock up Trump where the sun never shines for crimes against democracy
B. You and Adams think alike. He too believed GOVERNMENT would solve all the problems of the individual. JEFFERSON on the other hand believed that the INDIVIDUAL was best left alone to live in FREEDOM AND LIBERTY. So you side with ADAMS TODAY in all the screeds you post.

Do you see how democracy corrupts every added generation gap occupying time now as much as any dictatorship ever has, but a democracy last generations longer than a single leader because all sides of social order are denying the same thing equally.

funny thread. Lying gets a person arrested for not complying with deniers inventing social truisms but honest gets a sole displacement executed for explaining evolving in real time and actual specificity of occupying space here.
