That will be admitted in court against Trump.
A great stupidity underlies the request that Pence, as our Constitutional referee, delay certification (mentioned in a different thread yesterday), namely the idea that The Constitution would permit the vice president, a federal office holder, to obstruct state certified electoral votes when division of state and federal power is the very structure of the government. In addition, Pence had a personal stake in the election. Any delay was to his benefit, too. If the Constitution had named in sequence officials empowered to fool with state certified votes the VP would be next to last on the list.razoo » 05 Aug 2023, 12:05 am » wrote: ↑ Nothing to See Here, Just Donald Trump's Attorney ...Vanity Fair

There's no such crime as, the president making sure the election is free of corruptionrazoo » 05 Aug 2023, 12:05 am » wrote: ↑ Nothing to See Here, Just Donald Trump's Attorney ...Vanity Fair

I was just about to say... I guess that asking for a delay to make sure everything was on the up and up is now considered an "insurrection".JustinSane » 05 Aug 2023, 9:24 am » wrote: ↑ There's no such crime as, the president making sure the election is free of corruption
Democrats impeached Trump for trying to investigate Bidens corruption. This is par for the course. Evident Trump believes the election had serious irregularities that warranted investigation. That is not operating with criminal intent.JustinSane » 05 Aug 2023, 9:24 am » wrote: ↑ There's no such crime as, the president making sure the election is free of corruption

Insurrection is criminal ......... Inciting crime is criminal ....... no hard evidence regarding voter fraud has ever surfaced EXCEPT noting how many republicans have committed voting fraud even GOP elected officials...... hmmmmmmmNeo » 05 Aug 2023, 9:41 am » wrote: ↑ Democrats impeached Trump for trying to investigate Bidens corruption. Hey Kazoo... just so you know, your favorite "source" MSNBC has had Trump "going to prison any day now" for about the last seven years now.razoo » 05 Aug 2023, 9:42 am » wrote: ↑ Quite a clever approach = Trump is running short on comprehension it appears.

Good thing there was no insurrection or incitement of violence. When Republicans get back in office there will be a house cleaning the likes this country has never witnessed before. You are right to be scared, it's a real nasty precedent democrats have set.razoo » 05 Aug 2023, 9:45 am » wrote: ↑ Insurrection is criminal ......... Neither of those happened. Trump was president - for him to raise concerns about the authenticity of an election while he's president, cannot be insurrection. I'd go further and say it's part of his job. He also has not incited crime, to my knowledge.razoo » 05 Aug 2023, 9:45 am » wrote: ↑ Insurrection is criminal .........
