my only suggestion would be for her to keep her politics and work separate. If I was to deal with a trade association or governmental agency.. I want to keep things as apolitical as we can. When I deal with the public, I keep the politics out of it 100% and I work for government.

yep....but it shows she wasn't stable enough for the job....vocalizing your hardcore obsessions with sex and politics doesn't work well in that kind of job or any other for that matter

I kinda get it.. you want to be an open book and not have to put that stuff in the proverbial closet. However, if you try to get attention and you assume that it will all be positive then that is a "you" problem. When I deal with the public, I do not make small talk. It helps that they only find their way to me because their claim was denied and so not too happy about that.

That kind of thing is all over social media..."Look at me!"....people have a desire to puke up all the details of their lives for all to see...there is a lot to be said for privacy 

First of all, no one works for the government, you work for taxpayers.
