The Republican controlled Ohio legislature put a special amendment intended to make it more difficult to amend the Ohio constitution this November in a special election held Tuesday.  If passed it would have required a 60% instead of over 50% majority.

The anti abortion measure was just stomped by over overwhelming support for abortion rights, even in formerly Republican areas of the state:

—-WASHINGTON (AP) — Ohio voters on Tuesday rejected a proposal that would have made it more difficult for voters to amend the state constitution, including one measure set for the November ballot that would guarantee abortion rights in the state.
 The Associated Press has called the race, determining that supporters of the proposal known as Issue 1 fell short in their effort to require future changes to the state constitution to win the support of 60% of voters instead of a straight majority.
 Votes cast against the measure, or No votes, lead Yes votes by more than 350,000, with nearly 90% of the expected vote tallied and some of the state’s largest and most Democratic-friendly regions, including Cuyahoga County, yet to report complete results.

Married men did not come up with all  this anti abortion bull ****.  This has to have been incels that decided the unborn matter more than their mothers.. 

Telling a woman she can’t do anything her grandmother had the right to do fifty years ago is not the way to a lady’s heart.
 
And aside from everything else, it is an extremely bad idea to force women too poor to drive out of state for a  legal abortion to have an unwanted brat to raise.  They all grow up, with predictable consequences.  In only a few more years we’ll need more prisons.
