The Trump incited “insurrection,” by definition, is a “violent uprising against an authority or government.” It is clear that Jan 6th terrorists who dissented against the election outcome, or even sought to obstruct Congress' certification of the election, were rising up against the government.
They had guns and ammo stashed nearby so an investigation revealed.
According to Forbes $2.73 million in damages were accomplished by the Jan 6th terrorist. One police officer diedas a result of Jan 6th injuries. Not exactly a peaceful protest that I am familiar with.
Any GOP presidential candidate will pardon all Jan 6th criminals. Not one President should be exempt from criminal prosecution simply because of being a President. No House or Senate member should be exempt from criminal prosecution no matter what. Who do these people think they are?
The USA and the DOJ cannot afford to pass over any elected officials or appointed officials who were organizers of the Insurrection.
The votes were not there which is why Rump thought he should demand votes and wanted others to break the lawBuffalo » 10 Aug 2023, 6:31 am » wrote: ↑ A shift of fewer than 50,000 votes in states like Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin would have put Trump back in the White House for a second term. You ****, liberal idiots all are so noble. Literally willing to throw away the trust in our intelligence bureaus and court systems just so braindead biden can continue banning light bulbs and gas stoves while increasing your energy costs (along with everything else) and leading the US closer to nuclear war. Wait...why do you all like braindead biden again?
And you could as easily say the same about Hillary in 16. The election Trump won in 16 was as close as he lost in 20.Buffalo » 10 Aug 2023, 6:31 am » wrote: ↑ A shift of fewer than 50,000 votes in states like Arizona, Georgia, and Wisconsin would have put Trump back in the White House for a second term.
