What's so insane about this is, if the perps even get caught, they will most likely be released on a cashless bail and end up with a slap on the wrist... but if the victim had produced a firearm and dispatched those two assholes right there in the street, then she would probably be arrested and held without bail, and be facing two murder charges.

This is why I advocate for "voluntary separatism" between the GOP Tribe
& the Dem Tribe.   National peace.      Some tribes are friendly.......some are not.
The Dems do not like us, love us, or respect us.   Dems should move to one
of the 24 Dem-states & live like they want to.    Same deal w/ the GOP.
I am seeking National Peace.

I'm fine with release and cashless bail.  Just brand a big "L" for looter on their forehead and chest. Let them go.  And, hold a 4-day police convention in Washington DC once a month.

instead of whining about it.. I have a realistic solution. First, decrease the funding that goes to high level city official salaries and edu-crats. Next, put that funding into hiring more police or subsidizing housing for existing personnel so that they can afford to live there. Next, be a bit more lenient on what qualifies as a parole violation. Finally, if there is any rent control.. remove it.
