this is one of many reasons that I am not a politician. Undertaking a project and knowing that I will fail is not my style. Its one thing if it is simply too much work but this faces insurmountable legal issues that no matter how hard one works... are not coming down. Such a waste of time, energy, and resources. Some would say that of what I do now. However, we used to have a staff of 4 in my dept. Now, it is just me. Why? I have automated the other 3 out of existence. I execute a series of scripts that do all of the work that used to take them all month.. that is not a waste of time, IMO.

Nice to hear you're looking after the taxpayer's dollar, how much did you save us on your yearly budget?

Well.. nothing for you since you do not live in NV. But the cost of staffing 3 individuals earning between 42 and 48K per year. This lack of staffing also enables us to move to a different building that will in the long run cost less.

That's nice, you can't prove I didn't buy the computer you're posting on though.

Confession.. that is almost on the horizon. Have made the job too easy and so have been prospecting for other employment. Have to be very selective so as to not take a pay cut but so is life.

That's the peril of being too smart for your own britches....  hopefully they'll see the value and allow you to broaden your horizon from within...

Missouri has statewide preemption and any law she passes is a political statement.

The gun grabbers have intentionally modeled what they do by the Pro Life movement for years and years.

Right now their anti gun laws get struck down.

Then someday when Heller gets overturned, like Roe v Wade, they win .

Very cool!  Now, I might just have to find a youtube on how to make your own stock from a block of walnut.  Then.....what.....kind......of hardware????  Maybe something in CZ.

When I was 12, he asked if I was interested in learning it... I said no... I think it was a smart move as I can hardly draw a stick figure... :faint:  now I can say I regret it, however I'm not sure how far we would have gotten as he was gone two years later...

in the basement was a small metal lathe, a vise, drill press, a shelf full of draw knives, chisels and hand checkering tools...oh, and a block of walnut for test firing small caliber rounds when a trip out to the gravel pit wasn't warranted...

As a kid I wouldn't have had the patience for methodically working a fine piece of walnut the way it should be done.  I don't even know if I would have the patience for it today!  But, I like to think I would.

The term "legal machine gun" shouldn't even exist.

LOL... I hear ya on that one... I mean, if you look at the weapon, in my view, the stock is a piece of art...like a carved fish...albeit with a fish, one at least has a sample or picture...

i recall it took a whole winter to carve one (1) out..and in MN. before climate change, winter lasted from August to June...  hell, New Yawkers thought we had perma-ice on the lakes... :die:

Donald Trump and the Fake GOP have become broken records = nothing new in the last 40 years, always whining, never working together with moderates and consistently leaving behind a wrecked economy.

Always as in annually more tax dollar give aways to the wealthy and and corporate America.

Yes a broken record. ALEC, MAGA, Trump and the fake GOP have nothing to offer...!!!
